HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Charlotte, NC)

Harborlight Glen Energy is an energy provider in Charlotte focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage response. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
