HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Charlotte, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
