HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Charleston, SC)

Bluepeak Beacon Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Charleston area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
