HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Fern Freight Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
