HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Charleston, SC)

Summit Maple Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Charleston, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing records. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
