HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Harbor Environmental Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on landfill records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
