HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Orchard Civic Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
