HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Buffalo, NY)

Highbridge Cedar Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Buffalo. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
