HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Umber Hospitality is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for group events, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on group events. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
