HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Umber Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Boston region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
