HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Cross Hospitality is a hospitality company in Birmingham with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on reviews and feedback. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
