HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Birmingham, AL)

Foxglove Junction Community Partners Group is a Birmingham charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
