HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Corner Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Anchorage, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
