Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Wichita, KS)

Cedar Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Wichita, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with promotions.
