Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Wichita, KS)

Fernwood River Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Wichita plant, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of tooling and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
