Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Wichita, KS)

Fernwood Rowan Civic Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
