Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Wichita, KS)

Stonegate Meridian Civic Services supports public agencies in Wichita with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 928 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
