Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Sable Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Virginia Beach, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of classroom supplies and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
