Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Keystone Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Virginia Beach area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
