Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Tampa, FL)

Bright Field Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Tampa plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Model the cost of tooling and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
