Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Tampa, FL)

Redstone Basin Civic Services works with county and city offices around Tampa, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
