Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Seattle, WA)

Foxglove Haven Water Authority Partners · Seattle, WA · contract

Foxglove Haven Water Authority Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
