Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Seattle, WA)

Northwind Fox Manufacturing makes precision components in Seattle, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of tooling and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
