Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Cobalt Insurance Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
