Financial Analyst - variance reporting (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Wren Foods and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of ingredient orders and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
