Financial Analyst - variance reporting (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Juniper Banking Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with deposit accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
