Financial Analyst - variance reporting (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Rook Learning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 578 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
