Financial Analyst - variance reporting (San Diego, CA)

Cedar Ember Financial Group is a financial-services company in San Diego. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Model the cost of account servicing and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
