Financial Analyst - variance reporting (San Diego, CA)

Summit Ridge Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around San Diego, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 534 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of family communication and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
