Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Highbridge Cross Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Salt Lake City, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
