Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Redstone Hollow Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Salt Lake City area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
