Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Mill Telecom is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of customer tickets and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
