Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Mill Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Salt Lake City focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
