Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Richmond, VA)

Harborlight Pine Manufacturing Group is a Richmond manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of production lines and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
