Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Haven Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Richmond caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of tuition and subsidies and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
