Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Richmond, VA)

Fernwood Quill Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Richmond, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
