Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Reno, NV)

Clearpath Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Reno. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • A relevant degree or certification.
