Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Nova Union Telecom provides broadband and phone service around San Jose, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
