Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Amberfield Rowan Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Tampa working with agencies and riders, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
