Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Westbrook Forge Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Charlotte, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 415 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
