Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Silverline Kestrel Insurance Group is an insurance company in Houston with claims and service teams, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
