Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Northwind Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
