Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Lantern Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
