Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Northwind Summit Early Learning runs childcare centres in Rochester caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of enrolment and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
