Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Rivermark Cedar Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Denver. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of branch operations and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • We reply to every applicant.
