Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Harborlight Orchard Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
