Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Bright Glen Foods is a Boston food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of sanitation schedules and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
