Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Northwind Pike Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
