Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Nova Beacon Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Richmond. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
