Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Amberfield Juniper Legal Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for trust accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of trust accounts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
